The DDI-3 simply converts an amplifier's dataport connector to an 8-position terminal block connector. If you wish to get easier power-standby control at your amplifier, monitor output signals, or send audio through your dataport without the need of a dataport cable, you now have these capabilities with the use of the DDI-3.
